We are excited to announce the establishment of a cadet membership for the ages of 11-15 years old! This membership is designed to give children an opportunity to learn about fire and emergency services, and to begin firefighter training to make them better prepared once they become of age to respond on emergency calls. This would be an excellent opportunity for any child to begin giving back to their community, and is eligible for the required student service learning hours needed to graduate from high school. Parents and guardians, we would love to have you as members too! We have two different membership types, operations and administrative. If fighting fire is not for you, we would love to have you as an administrative member to help with the business and fund raising operation of the Long Meadow Volunteer Fire Company.
